How is this different from the backup page under security?
It is the same protection, described here from the server and storage side. The security page says why the copy belongs with protection.
Is a snapshot enough?
No. It sits on the same storage. A backup is a separate copy with a restore test.
How often is something restored?
When it is set up and again during care. A real file or mailbox is checked.
How long does recovery take?
That depends on volume, the line and the hardware. We name the last tested copy and the order, not an invented duration.
